The Harbin Ice and Snow World
The Harbin Ice and Snow World in China, established in 1999, was initiated by the government of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, to celebrate the millennium and promote the Shenzhou Century Tour. Leveraging the advantage of Harbin’s snowy season, it is a large-scale ice and snow art project showcasing the ice and snow culture and the charm of winter tourism in the northern city of Harbin.
In January 2024, the Harbin Ice and Snow World was officially recognized as the world’s largest ice and snow-themed amusement park, earning the title from the Guinness World Records.
