Inside the Yabuli Panda Pavilion, there are two giant pandas. The older sister is named Sijia, and the younger brother is named Youyou. Pandas are generally lazy and spend most of their time sleeping.
If you want to see lively pandas, it’s best to go early. The caretakers will feed the pandas at 8:00, 11:00, and 14:00, during which they are most active. At other times, they may be sleeping or rolling in the snow. If you’re lucky, you might catch a panda meet-and-greet session, where they interact with visitors. There are also opportunities to feed and interact with other animals such as lambs, camels, spotted deer, and small squirrels. The whole experience usually takes around 1 to 2 hours.

The Yabuli World’s First Slide is located on the summit of Sangoukui Mountain at an elevation of 999.8 meters. The equipment is imported from Germany and consists of stainless steel slides and a sturdy plastic roof. Resembling a long dragon, it extends downhill along the slope for a total length of 2680 meters, with a vertical drop of 570 meters and a remarkable 48 turns, earning it a place in the Guinness World Records. Visitors first need to take the high-speed cable car to the mountaintop, during which they can enjoy the breathtaking views of the beautiful forest, snowy landscapes, and scenic spots like Yansong, Stone Sea, and hanging trees.
If you’re lucky, you might even witness professional skiers racing down the snow-covered slopes. After reaching the top, you can take the sled downhill, and for skilled riders, the entire descent takes only 3 minutes. The sleds come in both single and double configurations, each equipped with a control handle – pushing forward accelerates, while pulling backward decelerates. The slide route passes through two tunnels and 48 turns, with a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour. Inside these tunnels, you can experience a thrilling sensation of transcending time and space, an unstoppable rush, and a sense of conquest and achievement. It’s an exhilarating experience that leaves you craving for more!
We can take the cable car suspended in the air to reach the summit of Sangoukui, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the forest, sea of snow, and then take the world’s first slide down. The slide is 2680 meters long with a total of 42 turns, and the speed is freely controlled. The staff will instruct you on how to slow down and brake. It is essential to follow the staff’s instructions, maintain a safe distance between two cars, and not stop during the journey to avoid collisions. Remember to brake at turns, and after reaching the bottom of the mountain, disembark promptly. It is not recommended for very young children to ride, but children aged 4 to 5 can ride with an adult on a double sled. The child sits in the space in front of the parent’s legs, and the parent holds the child’s legs, gradually releasing the brake and moving slowly. It is very safe, with a maximum speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
